2026 Opening Hours

Prom Shop Additional Day – Saturday June 6th 2026 at our offices in Burton Town Centre – by appointment only. 

If you are struggling to afford a prom dress this year and would like an appointment, please speak with your Head of Year who will contact us and book a slot. 

 

Friday 27th February from 4pm – 9pm

Saturday 28th February from 9am – 4pm 

at The Community Church, Main Street, Stapenhill, Burton on Trent. DE15 9AR

Invitation Only – Invitations to the event are given through each local secondary school

 

No teenager should miss their school prom because they can’t afford a dress to wear.

Working alongside The Community Church and local schools we run a ‘Pop Up Prom Dress Shop’ in Stapenhill, Burton, to support any girl who is unable to afford a prom dress.

THIS YEAR

Over the course of the two days, we welcomed over 100 guests through the doors, including many Year 11 girls from across Burton and South Derbyshire who were on the hunt for their perfect prom dress. The atmosphere was buzzing from start to finish—and best of all, 48 girls from eight local schools said ‘yes to the dress’ and found a gown they loved and got to take it home completely free of charge.
Together, we gave away thousands of pounds’ worth of gorgeous dresses—every single one donated by bridal shops or residents of Burton.

We want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who supported us to ensure that the project can continue for 2027. A special shoutout goes to Cllr Conor Wileman, whose £500 grant from the Community Fund has bought the equipment we need.  Also, the hugest thanks to Beau Belles Bridal in Borrowash, Brides of Ashby, Kiss Me Kate Designs and the local residents of Burton for donating so many stunning dresses. The generosity has been overwhelming once again!

DONATING DRESSES

If you have a dress you’d like to donate, or if you’d like to support us in any way, please get in touch via our social media or email. Dresses can be dropped at our offices when we are open, or there is a crate outside 31 Best Avenue, Stapenhill DE15 9GU where they can be dropped at any time.
